The Harlan Middle School Cross Country team out ran the competition at the Black Bear Invitational/Area 9 Championship. 8th grade runner Dylan Cox led the competition by placing 1st in Area 9 and 2nd overall in the middle school competition.
In the elementary competition, HMS runners also captured medals. In the boys division, Cooper Thomas placed 5th overall and took 2nd place in Area 9. Michael Lindsey placed 38th overall and Landon Traylor placed 59th overall.
On the girls side, Harper Carmical brought home big wins for the Dragons. Harper placed 1st overall and 1st in Area 9. Halle Cox placed 8th in Area 9 and 16th overall. Juliana Damaa placed 10th in Area 9 and 20th overall. Daria Lee placed 20th in Area 9 and 37th overall. Shaedyn Crow placed 41st overall and Arianna Raleigh placed 44th overall.
