Harlan Elementary School is excited to announce that Mrs. Erin Alred will be transitioning to the Guidance Counselor position for the 2021-2022 school year.
Mrs. Erin Alred is currently a 2nd grade teacher and brings more than 10 years of education experience to the position. Harlan Independent Schools Superintendent, C.D. Morton commented "Mrs. Alred will be a perfect fit for this position. She connects with families and students in a real way and will prove to be a remarkable resource for our school community. She has demonstrated a deep love and care for students and it is impossible to hide her 'can do' attitude. Students and families are dealing with lots of pandemic related issues now and in the future, adding Mrs. Alred to our team is just another way we are working so to serve our families."
Mrs. Alred, joins Mr. Chris Day and Mrs. Cristal Pace as the other guidance counselors within the district. Mrs. Alred is married to Matthew Alred and have two sons Andrew & Emmett. Congratulations to Mrs. Erin Alred.
